Our Commitment
HomeScore is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our website as accessible as possible.
Conformance Status
HomeScore aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Measures Taken
We have implemented the following measures to ensure accessibility:
All pages include a skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users. All images include meaningful alt text or are marked as decorative. All form inputs have visible labels and descriptive error messages. Interactive elements have visible focus indicators using a 2-pixel solid teal border. All content is navigable via keyboard. ARIA labels are provided for custom components including the score gauge, progress bar, and interactive calculator. Heading hierarchy follows a logical structure from h1 through h3 without skipping levels. Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion system setting. Primary call-to-action buttons use 18-pixel font at 700 weight, meeting WCAG AA large text contrast requirements on our orange background. Color is not used as the sole means of conveying information.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party content such as affiliate partner websites, embedded calculators from external providers, and payment processing forms (Stripe) are outside our direct control. We are working with our partners to improve accessibility in these areas.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of HomeScore. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@myhomescore.com. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
